Doil Studio is an interdisciplinary artistic practice working across material, image, and object.
The studio investigates material as a site of inscription. A space where memory, tension and identity are embedded, preserved and reconfigured. Processes include structural intervention, layering, binding, surface manipulation, graphic application and controlled gesture. Material is not treated as passive support, but as an active body carrying pressure and trace.
Works are organized under the overarching category of relics. Within this framework, different forms are distinguished by their material and construction.
Vestiges refer to textile-based works, where fabric is treated as surface, structure and carrier. Traces are intuitive drawings that capture immediate thought and gesture. Unfiltered marks that exist as direct extension of process and state. Monoliths describe wall-based reliefs, that exist between image and construction.
Across all works, Doil Studio maintains a rigorous approach to documentation, provenance and narrative framing.
The practice explores the human impulse to externalize memory, thought and identity into material form, creating artifacts that exist between object, surface and embodied presence.
