1. Overview
This website is operated by Doil Studio. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Doil Studio. Doil Studio operates as an independent artistic practice and offers original artworks and related services through this website. By accessing our website or purchasing an artwork, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including all policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the website or use our services.
2. Scope of Application
These Terms apply to all users of the website, including visitors, customers, collectors, and contributors. All artworks offered are original, unique pieces unless explicitly stated otherwise. No mass production takes place.
3. Artistic Nature of the Works
All works sold through Doil Studio are artistic works. Minor irregularities, variations, traces of process, aging, or material behavior are intentional and inherent to the artistic practice and do not constitute defects. Descriptions, images, and texts serve as contextual documentation and do not represent technical guarantees.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
By placing an order, you submit a binding offer to acquire the artwork. A contract is concluded only once we confirm the order via email. We reserve the right to refuse orders at our discretion, particularly in cases of suspected reselling, misuse, or inconsistency with the artistic framework of the practice.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are shown excluding VAT, unless stated otherwise. VAT is applied where required by law. EU business customers with a valid VAT ID may qualify for reverse charge. International orders may be subject to import duties and local taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer. Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal). We do not store payment details.
6. Shipping, Customs and Risk Transfer
Shipping methods, costs, and delivery estimates are displayed during checkout. For international shipments, customs declarations are completed truthfully and in accordance with applicable law. Any delays caused by customs authorities are outside our control. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon handover to the carrier, unless mandatory consumer protection laws state otherwise.
7. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Due to the unique and artistic nature of the works, all sales are final, unless otherwise required by mandatory law. Custom-made, altered, or artistically modified works are excluded from return. Any statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Care and Handling
Care instructions are provided for guidance only. Natural aging, material change, or wear caused by use, environment, or time are part of the artwork’s lifecycle and do not constitute defects.
9. Intellectual Property
All artworks, images, texts, symbols, and concepts remain the intellectual property of the artist, unless explicitly transferred in writing. The purchase of an artwork does not grant reproduction, commercial, or derivative rights.
10. User Submissions
Any feedback, messages, or submissions sent to us may be used for communication purposes but will not be published or exploited without consent.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
This website may include links or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or data handling practices.
12. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use this website or its content for unlawful purposes, to infringe intellectual property, to misrepresent identity, or to interfere with the operation or security of the site.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available”.
